feeling guilty

Well, lets see here I have been a bad girl by not writing every day on my blog. I feel guilty but I keep trying to write when I do remember to go to my blog. On Friday I found out my husband had to go out of the country for business so I was a bit bummed about that and didn’t get on the computer, just read and took what time I had with him yesterday. Tonight I am looking at my book to see what I can develop. I was watching Twister last night and man, I love that movie I was jumping up and down and covering my eyes when a tornado would almost kill them. I also just got a part time job that I will start on Tuesday which will make me work harder on my schedule and to follow through with that seclude.

my problem

I think going into this challenge I thought I had to be prepared and organized on what I wanted to write about each day. Thinking in that point of view I was like I will go through all the authors I like from A – Z and to talk about the different blogs I like, however great idea but not making me want to write each day.  Contemplating my problem I realized that I needed to talk more about myself and what interests me and what will get my creative juices flowing. I think I will write in my blog like I was writing in a diary. How my day went, how my writing went, my fears, my excitement, my accomplishments.

Dafeenah's Blog

Ever since I created a blog and sighed up for the blog challenged I have been looking at other people’s blogs. I love finding out new information as well as seeing if that person can offer me any services in the future. I found such a blog for indie writers. Dafeenah is a wonderful woman, who has gone through challenges in life and overcame them. I have had the fortune to read some of her writing through her blog. Just reading her blog posts makes me believe that she will be an amazing writer, I hope to one day see a book with her name as the author. Until then she helps build her profile and income through designing blog and cover designs for eBooks. I know when I finish my e-book I will be contacting her to design my e-book cover.

Please go to her blog leave a message to say hi.

Chloe Neill

Chloe Neill is another amazing book author. Her series that deals with vampires is awesome in all ways, seems to be more real in the action and less with the in between the sheets aspect of the book. I love that her first 3 books deals with the relationship between the heroin and the main man squeeze. I have to say that I did not read her 4 book and after reading her reviews she cut out an important character that well really upset me to know. Understandably I will wait for her to write the next book and I will read the reviews to see how she fixes that problem if she does not fix the problem, then I am not going to finish the series. Even though I am a little upset at her right now, she is still an amazing author.

Have you ever read a series and become disappointed in the series and stopped reading that series, did you ever go back and finish that series later on?

Beth Fantaskey

Beth Fantaskey. Who is that you ask; she is a Young adult author. She also works as a professor in college, has two kids and still finds time to write amazing books. She makes me look like I am slacking off in my duty to my book.  She has written three books so far, her first book that I read anyway so to me it is her first book is Jessica’s Guide to dating on the dark side.  Then she wrote Jekyll loves Hyde, and last but defiantly not least is Jessica rules the dark side.  Her book Jessica’s guide to dating on the dark side is about a young American girl who discovers that she is a vampire and meets her prince charming along the way. I find that her book was a little on the darker side than the romance side.  I also tend to like my books more on the R side to XR as far as rating for reading pleasure however even though her books are more PG-13 I liked her books.
She even added a free part of Jessica’s life before her next book is available, so if you love her then you are in for a treat.

Leave me a message on your preference on reading rates, do you like more books that are PG, PG-13, R, or XR, and why do you like that rating more than others.

1st day of blog challenge - Adele

Adele - Is a young lady who has an amazing voice, love of poetry, and is very hilarious. She is from the U.K. I just love their accents. When you hear her voice you think she must be an older woman from the wisdom and understanding in her lyrics. However she is only 21 to 22 years of age amazing what a person can accomplish if they set there minds to their goal. Her first album came out when she was only 19.This young lady has even won Grammy awards. I love her songs, hometown glory, rolling in the deep, and Rumor has it. There has been many response about her weight which I find just awful because she is gorgeous. She may not be toothpick skinny but that girl has serious curves. If I was into girls, I would so do her. She is funny and down to earth and can make me laugh so hard I am crying when I watch her interviews. One interview in particular with Graham Norton was hilarious. You can find this interview on YouTube, here is the links

Part 3 = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qEAGnnPKOI&feature=related
What is your favorite song from Adele and why? Has her music inspired a poem, story or an emotion to help you write a scene in your book?
I tend to listen to classical music or techno when I write but I might just add her into the mix and see what flows on my word screen for my novel.
